The hooks i purchased are sharp! And i goofed and bought the smaller size, which is resulting in swallowed hooks. But the red anodizing is wearing of quickly. Next purchase will be non anodized.

The only problem with this hook is that you're busy catching more fish. No joke! Without a metal leader (just mono) and with a smaller profile hook (compared to a regular BaitHolder), you will keep the fish from spooking. They will keep it. They won't spit it out; the bait and the hook tends to migrate further into the fish. With live bait disappearing down the fishes mouth, you'll want to also buy the BassPro hook remover and get good at it. Take plenty of hooks for yourself and your "soon to be" converted fishing pals. Especially great for Leeches, Worms and some baitfish-type hooking methods.

Worth the price
I was first concerned about the hooks sharpness. So I only ordered one size. When the hooks arrived I was surprised on the quality from these hooks. They perform well and are the sharpest hooks out of the box. Needless to say I ordered 3 more sizes.

For tubes, I use a 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap worm hook and xps tube weights. I fish wacky style with o-rings using the O-Wacky tool. 2/o is a perfect size with orings. It leaves all of the hook exposed, doesn't weaken the worm, and is surprisingly weed resistant.
