Great for dropshot
I buy these for my dropshot rigs. They hook-up well and never have a problem with them being sharp. I will buy these again and again.

Good Carp Hooks
I use the the #4 brass/nickel hooks for fishing for carp.
American suppliers haven't caught on yet that carp fishing in the U.S. could be as big as bass fishing so they don't supply any specific carp tackle for us here.
I took a guess on these hooks based on looking at pics and specs of common European carp hooks and these are the right shape to use with the carp hair rigs that I tie myself.

These hooks would be 5-star if only they were sharp. Good design and strength, but be prepared to sharpen them before use. Considering that you can buy Owner or Gamakatsu that are "ready to use" right out of the package for a few more $s, not sure these are worthwhile. Definitely not "Engineered for Sharpness" as the package claims.

For tubes, I use a 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap worm hook and xps tube weights. I fish wacky style with o-rings using the O-Wacky tool. 2/o is a perfect size with orings. It leaves all of the hook exposed, doesn't weaken the worm, and is surprisingly weed resistant.
