I just used some rigs tied with these hooks in #1 black nickel. Wow are these things sharp. The circle design hooks fish like crazy. The 2x size stood up to sheepshead teeth and worked well with whiting and stingrays. I need to get some more of these in different sizes.

So many bass caught with the Bass Pro Shops XPS Octopus hooks in Senko worm with and without O - Ring. Plenty of strength for those strong river smallies.

Hello. I am willing to buy these hooks, but I don't know what size would be the best for 2-3/4" tubes and 5" wacky worms . Can anyone help me? (I was thinking about 2/0)Thank you in advance.

2/o...Top 1000 Contributor

For tubes, I use a 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap worm hook and xps tube weights. I fish wacky style with o-rings using the O-Wacky tool. 2/o is a perfect size with orings. It leaves all of the hook exposed, doesn't weaken the worm, and is surprisingly weed resistant.Top 1000 Contributor

Anybody use these for wacky worming?Answers
A:

Yes, all the time. 1/0 or 2/0 with o-rings.Top 1000 Contributor
A:
yes this is what you need for a wacky wormTop 250 Contributor
A:
yeah, but your better off using something els. the bait has a tendincy to go over the hook and make it almost imposible to get a good hookset.1 of 1
