Built for extreme speeds, keep your rod tip low and let this bad boy burn! The Bass Pro Shops XPS Deal Sealer Bucktail features a two-blade system that helps keep bait clear from weeds, bleeding red hooks, extra-thick twin lifelike holographic blades for durability and added weight, and heavy-duty components. Even better, it's tied with the bucktail standing straight out for extra volume and action. Blade size: #6. Hook size: 4/0.
Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by QUALITY CONTROL they look great in the package but after 1 hour of casting the paint began to flake off the blades. not satisfied with paint adhesion to the blades. September 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Canadian Pike Magnet I fished this lure for Northern Pike in Canada the fish literally inhaled the bait. It was a great addition to my arsenal! August 22, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Value for Musky Nuts I purchased the XXX shad color and got a 40" fish within 20 minutes of putting it in the water. Since then, I have bought several more and tried them with success under a variety of conditions. I did have an issue the blades turning on one of them, but managed to fix it by bending the clevises. These also work well trolled right behind the boat with a heavy in-line weight to keep them down. December 14, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by Spinner that doesn't spin This lure spins poorly and sticker peeled of before it even had one hit. Poorly designed and made lure. Save your money. November 15, 2010

A:
match your line to the color of the water and match your lure to the color of the sky (ie. bright sky use a bright lure, cloudy day, use a dark lure). If the water color is dark and murky use spinners of something that throws off lots of vibrations which is how fish 'find' the lure when it's tough to see.

I think the black/ orange is definately best either at night, on an overcast day, or in murky water. Brown/ gold should also work good.

Such as the Mepps Giant Killers are, with which you can swap bucktails and blades quite easily with a split ring tool

It looks like the bucktail is on the wire shaft and not the hook, so probably not.

A:
Not really. The bucktail is NOT tied to the hook like similar spinners. It is tied on a straw like piece mounted on the body. For the money though, It wouldn't be worth it in my opinion.

A:
Really depends on how quickly you retrieve. The bait’s design allows it to be burned near the surface with a fast retrieve or worked deep with a slow retrieve.
