Our experts are impressed with the sculptured, naturally shaped body designs, the lifelike 3-D lazer eyes, the extra-loud rattles—and especially the hot finishes that replicate the natural colorization process (becoming more pronounced in direct sunlight, and somewhat less intense under the surface). All styles are equipped with premium extra-sharp hooks. Whenever game fish are feeding on slender baitfish, this is the minnowbait to reach for! Longer and slimmer to mimic everything from shiners to creek chubs. Very realistic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gnle Great for Pa. Steelhead
This is a great steelhead lure for our Lake Erie tribs. If the water is a little colored you can't beat it. Fished slowly in the current the fish will attack with a smash that is a lot of fun.The hooks are not high quality but with a loose drag I've caught many steelhead over 10 lbs. The low price makes it easier on the wallet if you lose one.

I've been trout fishing for almost 60 years and a few years ago I bought a couple of these baits in different patterns. In the three years that I've fished the SPX Floating Minnow I've caught more big trout in that period of time that during all the rest of my years trout fishing. The brown trout pattern being the best by a long shot. I don't know how many I've gone through, but the last time I went I fished three days and wound up loosing the six baits I had. In that three days I caught a 21' a 20" an 18" a 17" and I don't know how many more from 14" to 16 ". Broke off one brown that was 15 to 20 LBS. I did loose one bait to a pine tree but the rest were taken by the trout. No I won't tell you where I fish but It's public water in Tn. I have at least six of the brown trout pattern in the 2 1/2" bait in my box every time I go. The Tn spot is just one where I use this bait. So I would give it 10 starts if they had them. Great bait Bass Pro.
