as soon as i pulled this bait out of the package i knew that i had a killer lure in my hands! First cast and BAM at strike! this lure killls the fish it is absoultly amazing!! but the only problem is that if you have a fish that keeps jumping and just trashin around it will proboly break this bait into half but thats why they give u a pack full of them! Best Drop Shot bait ever!!!!!!!!

This plastic has a nice tail action on the fall and retrieve, but the body is lighter and thinner than I had expected. If you buy these, try thin, long shank worm hooks so that the body does not get damaged too much from hook placement. I caught one smallmouth and the McCreature was McShredded!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by JoeDee I even use it on salt water
Work great on a drop shot. However, one of my favor ways to used it is on a shaky head. Sometimes it works better with the arms and sometimes without. Therefore I always start with them on. Another of m favor is on a Texas rig. I use it during spawn season. I primarily use it weightless. just the weight of the hook will make it fall with great action. I drop it close to the nest. Once it’s all the way down hoop it slow in to the center of the nest. on salt water I rig it on a drop shot or on a jig an swim it like a jerk bait. I love it on salt water because you never really know what you will get on it. on one day I got 5 spices on a single color (blue Ice)

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bassgal Great finesse bait
This little bait looks so nice in the water. Works great on dropshot and splitshot as well. Haven't tried it as Texas rigged yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't be attractive to bass rigged that way as well. Fish seem to like eating it up!

I'm from central California and loved large mouth fishing. Trying to get a heads up on how to fish rivers and get my pole bent or broke would work.Answers

Your best bet on the Columbia for getting your pole bent over backwards is to go for a world record walleye and use the McCreature on a jig! Walleye tend to like a lot of plastics and some of the tactics are similar to smallmouth. You want to find pools and eddies with a decent depth (10 ft) and the front side of current breaks. Anything that breaks current in deeper water can hold walleye.Details:Â
What oz. weight and size hook works well with this bait?Answers

If you're from Illinois, it's a fantastic walleye and smallmouth bait. I mainly use it on a jig, 1/8 oz for shallower than 15 ft and 1/4 for deeper. 1/2 for a decent current in a river. You can also dropshot this bait for both species.A:Â
3/0 or smaller hook...smallest weight you can, with current weather (wind) and depth you are fishing...bait works well for me in shallow summer pattern when bite is really toughA:Â
When using this bait on a drop shot I use a Spro Power Swivel size 4 or 6, an Owner size #2 mosquito hook (to nose hook the soft bait) with the lightest drop shot pencil weight possible depending on the wind. General rule for me: increase in weight = decrease feel of the bite. Good luck to you.Details:Â
what kind of fish?Answers

this is a crawfish/baitfish imitation or can even pass as a leech or basically whatever you wntTop 25 Contributor

Bass Pro says it's supposed to be a crayfish immitation, but it looks very similar to a minnow, and the tail can even pass for a leech. I use it for walleye very effectively.1 of 1
