great hook I love to fish soft plastics, especially worms and these hooks are strong and sharp. If you are looking for a good hook for your soft plastics then look no further. Just a tip, I like to thread my worm all the way up to wear it covers the knot you tied your hooks on with. it helps to preserve a little life on the plastic as well as reduce friction from a bullet weight hitting the knot. hooks Ya know hooks are hooks but these hooks are great they are so strong and don't straighten out when you get a big fish. There nice and wide and the red color works great! March 11, 2009
BEST HOOK EVER This hook is awesome. I will never use anykind of hook again. Its strong and sharp. You can use it for all soft baits.I really like the size 05 ones. It puts the hook right in the back. Even if the bass just hit the back you got him.Unlike the smaller hooks. The stright back is great for going through weeds and it doesnt have a big profile that will cause it to make the bait act funny in the water.I never had a problem with the soft bait sliping down on the hook. Its alround great hook. Its going to be the only one on my line. July 14, 2008
Right to the point These hoooks are great they are extremely sharp i would give them a 5 but the point tends to bend after like on fish but could have been a bad pack. June 22, 2008

No - I would use a EWG hook. Senkos are thick baits - you will get better hook ups.

I prefer EWG hooks when using a thicker worm like a senko to allow for better hook sets if the worm bunches up.

A:
yes, but for fishing wacky style, I would reccomend a eagle claw weedlees hook (item # 38-453-218-24 from bass pro shop.) The best hook I've found for that situation is a "Strike King, Pork-O" They are hard to find but well worth the effort. They cost around $ 3.00 for a package of 5.

I have no idea how to chose a size fo this hook. I'm picking up sand warms 2 inches and the squid 3 inches.
I would like this hook to exit more to the rear of the baits, do I need two differint sizes? If so please tell me which to get.. Help!

A:
I mainly bass fish, but from the size of the bait you're using I would suggest about a 2/0, and that will should leave a little at the rear end for that natural "wiggle".

Since you are using 2-3 inch worms you should buy anywhere between 2/0- 4/0 hooks 1/0 will prabably be to small and 5/0 will be to big. HAPPY FISHING!
