Nice item.....Major flaw The item seems to be of decent quality, however, like another reviewer noted, when you try to open it up to use it the handle falls off. I havent had the opportunity to use it in a realy application, but I dont think it will make it lakeside. I'll probably give it away to someone that doesnt know any better. Fix the handle issue and you have a great item. January 27, 2008
Geat little tool! This is a handy little tool, for clipping line, and mainly just mono, or fluro. The only downside I have with it, is that it takes some pressure, and maybe even a few tries to cut superline like fireline. I dont use the other tools, like the pick, and file, but Im sure they work. Great tool, and a must have in your tackle box! August 4, 2007
Good concept,...but... This would be a handy little tool if it wasnt so prone to falling apart. It works well for clipping off mono lines, but it hacks any braided stuff apart without a clean cut causing fraying. If you can find a way to operate this without having the handle fall off all the time it is a handy device. March 6, 2008
Piece O' Garbage "Typically" I like BP's XPS stuff, but not this time. Took it out of the package, made two snips and tied the lanyard to my belt. Went to snip something a little while later and no pin or thumbar. Be afraid, be very afraid......:O March 8, 2012
