In clear water this lure is very visable and draws fish from a mile away. As all Lazer Eye lures do, they have excellent eyes and finishes that produce strikes. This lure runs deep and true but seems to be more suited for clear lakes or semi stained water in rivers. Use a straight quick retrieve without any pauses that would allow bass to study it too close because it has no natural prey coloration. But as we all should know by now, bass sometimes just can't resist flashy colors.

Began using these last year. Was looking to try the coffin bill design but didn't want to spend a lot of money. these are the ticket. Used them from April to September. Good wiggle action and it really takes a side detour when it hits bottom, trees or rocks. Caught many fish when it bounced sideways off trees. Worked good in catching fish around trees in 15-20 feet of water. Paint jobs have held up well. I don't fish around too many rocks though, but paint has held up to fish. Hooks held up great when pulling out of snags. Worked very well for me.

This bait has an excellent action, it's tight wiggle is fantastic on the Australian predatory species such as Australian Bass and Yellow-Belly. It has an amazing action even at a dead slow role and can be paused, burned or twitched to get that reaction bite. I can use this bait to cover allot of water from the 12 to 18 foot range.

Ive been looking for some affordable balsa cranks but will settle with anything without a rattle the higly pressured fish in my home lake are use to everything having rattles so i need something new to throw any ideas?Answers

This lure does have rattles, but the intense color of the blue back chartreuse lure may do the trick.Also throw something to them they probably have not seen like the Yum Dancin' Eel.
That Dancin' Eel does the trick for me when I'm in a high pressured area like the one in this picture I caught during my son's wedding. Just don't tell your buddies are they will start throwing them too.

This bait does have rattles but I would still recommend it to you for your high pressured lakes, the reasons being this bait has a great action even at a dead slow role and can then be twitched for an erratic action almost like a jerk bait (to get a reaction bite from those spooked fish) and the rattles are quite quiet anyway, you can only really hear them when you burn this bait.A:Â
nitro flat shad have internal rattles......check out the spro little johns, they dont have rattles, at little pricy though1 of 1
