Rated 5 out of 5 by good has good action and does what it's supposed to. all around a good crank February 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by crank baits living in newyork by mid july the shallow lakes get choked out by tall weeds this crank stays about a foot below the surface just at the top of the weeds one of the best long lasting cranks you can buy!!!!!!!!! July 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Times I have used these lures for the past 2 yrs and have had great times with the XXX colors, esp. color #79 (Chome XXX Shad). It casts great on baitcasting or spinning, tracks true and holds up to wear at a good price. I have cought many bass and pike and one bluegill with these. May 29, 2012

The hooks are #4, and they don't need to be switched out. I pulled in 4 bass around 5-6 lbs. each on one lure with factory hooks last spring, with no hook deformation.

I would go panfishing in your lake and see what type of little fish are in there. Then try to match the color with that off the little fish. Bluegill is my favorite but I only really fish in the same pond everytime.

A:
It depends on the water clarity. If the water is clear, use colors like Brown Craw, White, Bluegill. Silver and brown colors work the best. If the water is stained, use colors like Crawfish Boil and Fire Crawdad, use brighter colors. In dirty water also use bright colors. Blue Back Chartreuse, Chartreuse Green Craw, Chartreuse Perch. So not to make it complicated, just remember this: Brighter colors in dirty water, lighter colors in clear water. Hope this helps.

I have all the color that they offer in these lures is the PEARL BLACK SHAD. This color has produced the most fish out of all the colors that I have used.

I had great luck on the 2" Super Shallow in Got Milk and Chrome XXX Shad, but I think any white or chrome color would have produced.

As far as i know these baits only come in one size and I've caught fish on every color i have and i have about 8 or 9 colors. Cast 5-6 times, if no strikes, switch colors, try to match the color with the lakes forage.
