I was in the local BPS store recently and bought 3 of the XPS crank baits in the Chartreuse Perch color one shallow, one midrange and one deep model. A few days later I used them on one of my favorite cranking spots. It’s an old tree lined fence row that runs from the shore out into the lake about 75 yards and crosses a creek bed that’s about 15 foot deep. I started at about 6:30 in the morning using the shallow runner in 3 foot of water and fished the tree line out to the creek ledge changing baits as the depth required. After a few casts the bite was on. The bass seemed to trigger when the bait bumped a stump or standing timber. These little baits worked through the timber without a snag and landed several bass in the 3 - 4 lb. range and lots of smaller ones and even a few BIG crappie. The only change I made to the bait was to put VMC short shank wide bite hooks on and down size the back hook. No problem casting the baits 40 yards even with a 10 -15 mph wind. All the baits ran at the depth they are made for. For $5 each the XPS baits are tough to beat.

lure looks great.. not to well on catching fish though. Went up north to pelican lake MN and its loaded with bass. This lure caught one in about a half hour.. not very impressed! also dives way farther than noted.
PS: i got the firetiger.

Just like all the other lazer eye cranks this lure is a fish catcher. Awesome action and very durable. The whole lazer eye series is a phenomenal arsenal. I have been ussing them exclusively for the past two years without even touching my raps or bandits. I hope BPS does not make a mistake and discontinue the line

Caught 2 bass in about 20 minutes on this using a stop and go retrieve right outside of a shoreline covered in about 7 feet of muck. I was using the bleeding tennesee shad (03) color and i was very pleased for the price of 3.99

Well I havn't used this bait but I have used a completely white crankbait before and I caught about 5 fish in 2 hours which is pretty good just not what i usually would catch. If you want to catch fish like crazy, at least where i've been fishing, go with a color like Green Shad #67 or any green color, specificly a darker green. Hope this helps :)1 of 1
