Our Bass Pro Shops® XPS® Lazer Eye™ Deep Diver Crankbaits are brilliant long-billed, diving "search" baits with a long history of producing. Their chubby, rounded bodies create tempting targets.

Our experts are impressed with the sculptured, naturally shaped body designs, the lifelike 3-D lazer eyes, the extra-loud rattles—and especially the hot finishes that replicate the natural colorization process (becoming more pronounced in direct sunlight, and somewhat less intense under the surface). All styles are equipped with premium extra-sharp hooks. Try one and see!

A must Have! EPIC Seriously I should not write this review because its gonna cause a price increase. I have never had a guaranteed catch lure UNTIL NOW. yesterday a buddy and I caught 38 LMG'S with this lure. Went back tonight and caught 8 more the only thing different was I caught 6 lmg, 1 Striped bass, and a big rainbow. All in about 40 min. I tried so many different Lures and jigs first in a 3 hour period. Im ordering 10 more right now cuz u will get them stuck and there only 3.99. Happy catching. Works best if u match the hatch. Had to where the lucky shirt too lol May 4, 2011
Desent purchase This crank bait has nice color options I bought (17 BLUE BACK CHARTREUSE ) I havent used it yet but is almost a better looking target than my 6 inch swim bait. May 2, 2010
reliable lure Sometimes the fish don't bite on them and some times they do. I have yet to have any problems with the lures not running true. May 21, 2006

A:
Fish 'em slowly once you have it at the desired depth and it has enough bill to deflect off cover and will back up when paused. I have no problems fishing them in heavy flooded timber.

They come through like a champ. Keep steady speed (slow / moderate). If you do get hung, just release pressure on the line, and then resume reeling. They back out almost every time.

Crankbaits can get hung up when bouncing the bottom, off timber, or in thick brush. I have hung up a few times but I manage to get free. Cover is where the fish are so carry several of these crankbaits just in case. These cranks are not expensive and are effective.

So far they hit timber and bounce over it. Now brush I've had to go get it a couple times. It has come through ok most of the time.

I've had good experiences with them coming through timber. Fish them in standing timber and run em through brush piles. I think it's a great crank. Like I said in the review, though, I would change out the hooks.
