Our Bass Pro Shops® XPS® Lazer Eye™ Deep Diver Crankbaits are brilliant long-billed, diving "search" baits with a long history of producing. Their chubby, rounded bodies create tempting targets.

Our experts are impressed with the sculptured, naturally shaped body designs, the lifelike 3-D lazer eyes, the extra-loud rattles—and especially the hot finishes that replicate the natural colorization process (becoming more pronounced in direct sunlight, and somewhat less intense under the surface). All styles are equipped with premium extra-sharp hooks. Try one and see!

LOVE THESE CRANKERS!! was skeptical at first because they are less expensive than strike kings and rapalas but they work just as well and I caught a bunch of fish on them....i actually prefer the way these float until you reel it in better than the rapalas....the rapalas will barely float or sometimes start sinking already when sometimes if i'm too close to cover (weeds, lillypads) i would prefer my crankbait NOT start diving until i needed it to...that way it doesn't get caught in the weeds right away and i can actually work it right.. Sleeper bait At four bucks, you need to get at least a few of these. These cranks run true, come through heavy cover nicely, and flat catch fish. If you do get hung up, just release pressure on the line for a second and resume reeling. Bass Pro...please keep these in production as long as possible! You got it right on this bait! August 2, 2012
BPS Deep Diver The Lazer Eye Deep Diver is a good crankbait for the price. They run true and have good action. I've caught bass, and even muskie on these crankbaits. These are reasonably priced and work effectively. July 29, 2012
XPS Lazer Eye Great lure for the price. One of the most realistic lures I have seen on the market. Will try it out when Bass season opens May 12th but I have no doubt it will catch fish. Check out the other colors as well. April 17, 2012

They come through like a champ. Keep steady speed (slow / moderate). If you do get hung, just release pressure on the line, and then resume reeling. They back out almost every time.

A:
Crankbaits can get hung up when bouncing the bottom, off timber, or in thick brush. I have hung up a few times but I manage to get free. Cover is where the fish are so carry several of these crankbaits just in case. These cranks are not expensive and are effective.

So far they hit timber and bounce over it. Now brush I've had to go get it a couple times. It has come through ok most of the time.

I've had good experiences with them coming through timber. Fish them in standing timber and run em through brush piles. I think it's a great crank. Like I said in the review, though, I would change out the hooks.
