When I first tried the XPS FC line, it jumped off my spool, a constant problem, finally had to cut out a tangle and do a Uni knot to complete my fishing day. Removed the line, but after reading Shimano's suggestion to remove washers below the spool so that the line will be wound higher in the front, I respooled and the line works great now. Caught a 9.5 pound LMB this week, a September hog on 8 # XPS. Sure changed my opinion of this line.

You need to go back to the white lable flourocarbon. I never had any problems with it. This new line is too stiff. I am suprised that KVD did not ask to have his initals removed from the package.

The description for this line is completely false. This line has more memory than a super computer. Should be known that its also champion of all backlashes on baitcasters. On spinners, as soon as you open the bale, it shoots off like a spring. Its garbage. Why KVD would put his initials on this stuff is beyond me, but I would HIGHLY recommend NOT wasting your money on this junk.

If this line is intended to replace the original xps fluoro it would be very disappointing. This line is very stiff, seems to have a larger diameter and does not handle nearly as well as the regular xps fluoro. Only positive is that it does seem strong. If you can, spend the extra money on a different brand.
