If this line is intended to replace the original xps fluoro it would be very disappointing. This line is very stiff, seems to have a larger diameter and does not handle nearly as well as the regular xps fluoro. Only positive is that it does seem strong. If you can, spend the extra money on a different brand.

After using the white label for years. Tried the new stuff its junk. After 4 times out I am peeling it all off and in the trash. 15 spools of junk.

I am super particular about this subject. I arrived at XPS after years of sampling many other lines. I was not happy when BPS changed over to this (before I realized the white label would still be available). I went ahead and bought a 1000 yd. spool of 12 lb. hoping it would be as good as the old XPS. 20 days of fishing and 2 tournaments later I have to say I like it better! It is definitely a little stiffer but it also seems more abrasion resistant (We fish a lot of rocks up here). The way it is evenly wound on at the factory blows the white label away. It goes on smooth as silk. My last batch of White Label looked as if it had been spooled by a monkey. I have officially moved on from White Label.

I always had great success with the white label BPS Flouro but they missed the mark on this one. Like many others, I bounced around to many different brands of line finding positives about each and also issues with each. You know the feeling? I always found myself coming back to the white label and was always impressed. This line caused me issues. It was somewhat uncooperative (casting reel) and the knots were a real issue. It almost gave you the impression that the knot would fail before it was cinched down. I would love to find a 1000 yrd. spool of the old tried and true white label BPS. With the 4+ rating of that line, why did Bass Pro mess with a good thing. Be warned about this stuff.
