  • Ideal for freshwater spinning and baitcasting

  • 100% fluorocarbon
  • Virtually invisible underwater
  • Level wound line
Our XPS KVD Signature Series 100% Fluorocarbon Fishing Line is ideal for freshwater spinning and baitcasting. Every spool is Level Wound, with the line laid down side by side, never crossing, for super smoothness without any line overstress or twist.
Rated 2.4 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Surprise Reversal When I first tried the XPS FC line, it jumped off my spool, a constant problem, finally had to cut out a tangle and do a Uni knot to complete my fishing day. Removed the line, but after reading Shimano's suggestion to remove washers below the spool so that the line will be wound higher in the front, I respooled and the line works great now. Caught a 9.5 pound LMB this week, a September hog on 8 # XPS. Sure changed my opinion of this line. September 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unhappy You need to go back to the white lable flourocarbon. I never had any problems with it. This new line is too stiff. I am suprised that KVD did not ask to have his initals removed from the package. August 26, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Junk Junk Junk The description for this line is completely false. This line has more memory than a super computer. Should be known that its also champion of all backlashes on baitcasters. On spinners, as soon as you open the bale, it shoots off like a spring. Its garbage. Why KVD would put his initials on this stuff is beyond me, but I would HIGHLY recommend NOT wasting your money on this junk. July 22, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Let down If this line is intended to replace the original xps fluoro it would be very disappointing. This line is very stiff, seems to have a larger diameter and does not handle nearly as well as the regular xps fluoro. Only positive is that it does seem strong. If you can, spend the extra money on a different brand. June 29, 2014

I agree with some of you, I do not care for this as much as the white label XPS fluorocarbon. Anybody found something like to old stuff.

Ive been using the Trilene XL 12 lb mono lately and love it. Its a nice line that has virtually no memory, it lays on the water nicely, sinks when it should, and ive never lost a hook. Its all I buy now.

I have used both now and the kvd signature series seems much stiffer than the regular xps fluoro. Seems like a generally cheaper line. Kvd might want to think about having his name taken off of it.
