Uniquely shaped to present a more realistic profile. Bottom-heavy design makes plastic tubes "come alive," dropping gracefully through the water with the hook riding up virtually all the time. Oversized premium hook for positive hooksets, even with larger tubes! Features 3/0 Eagle Claw® Lazer Sharp premium hooks. Lures not included.
Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fine, But Just Fine. There is nothing wrong with these - I bought them to pop into some tubes to skip under low hanging cover. They do what they're supposed to - but don't fish them around any heavy cover. The hooks bend easy. They are also difficult to get into certain tubes... but there is nothing wrong with the shank size etc. - you just have to have multiple tube sizes before you order something online without looking at it first hand ;) July 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by good purchase 1/2 oz tube jighead came as pictured, but 3/4 oz jighead was not even closen to picture April 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by unfilled pack My 10 pack of 1/4 oz. jigs only contained 7. Jigs seem ok though. July 14, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by short shanks Bought the jig heads to go with the Coffee tubes. The shanks are way to short. I don't even have a short enough tube that this would work in, nor does it work in thier own tubes. April 6, 2011

Are these made with lead?

Details:
I heard that the production of lead weights is going to be stopped because of the environmental impact. Does anyone know if this is this true?

Yes these are lead, and your second question is semi-true, it depends on your area. I think more anglers will lean towards tungsten in the near future, especially if it means healthier fisheries.

My gut says the impact from lead anything (jogs, sinkers, shot, etc.) in the wild is almost negligible, however, I think most of us would do anything to keep our favorite waters as healthy as possible. So if we transition to another metal, who cares? Especially if the price difference is tiny...

I'm no tree-hugger, but I'd do anything to leave the smallest possible trace when I visit an area.
