Why call them Extreme? The word “Extreme” is somewhat overused these days, so with these rods, we’ve tried to stay true to the official definition, which is (according to Webster’s Dictionary) “exceeding the ordinary, usual, or expected.” We have packed every possible ultra-high-end feature into the strongest, most profoundly sensitive package, and still kept your investment under $100!
Here’s what you get: We start out with an immensely powerful yet feather-light 60-million-modulus Powerwall IM9 graphite blank, then wrap the butt section with a new diamond weave carbon fiber to enhance lifting power. We top the blank with virtually frictionless, mirror-polished Fuji aluminum oxide guides, and we finish the blank with the most durable clear-coat available. The grips are turned from ultra-premium-grade cork, with our exclusive PowerHump handle to aid in balance and enhance fish-turning power. The full-contact, Soft Touch reel seat puts your fingers directly on the blank so you can feel even the softest bite. The result is a fishing rod that is farthest removed from the ordinary, that is anything but the usual suspect, and that far exceeds what you expect from a rod at this price point. By definition, these rods truly are extreme! Three piece travel rods include cordura covered travel case and nylon rod sock.PowerHump Handles:
Our specially contoured, premium cork handle design gives you enhanced leverage and an increased sense of confidence during the battle!Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides:
Polished to a mirror-like, friction-free finish. Extremely durable; precisely spaced for perfect line flow.Full Contact Soft Touch Reel Seat:
Lightweight, rock-solid reel seat locks your reel in place, and the blank-thru construction puts your fingers in direct contact with the blank for the utmost vibration transmission.

by LBassAssassin LOVE this rod so far!
Got this rod as a birthday present recently, I bought it while it was on sale and so far I am very impressed. Landed and held two nice Largemouth's first time out and it is very sensitive! Quality Built!! I ordered the two piece to save some shipping (usually only use one piece rods) So far I am impressed. I will write another review as I use it more. The feel is incredible and If this one holds up to its end of the bargain I will be buying these rods from now on. I ordered the 7' MH rod which was on backorder but I received it before the in stock merchandise arrived. Thanks Bass Pro for getting here in my hands before I expected it. 5 stars for that. If I had one knock on the rod it I expected it to be more detailed and finished with a few more graphics. But pretty dont catch fish just ask my ugly stick, and so far this rod has helped me land a couple. I have high hopes for it. I got everything I expected so far and couldnt complain about the sale price either.

Just got back from Reindeer Lake in SK. and loved the rod. Very light but casts extremely well. Both accurate and long casting. Handled 4 Pike over 44 inches with ease. I was using a mediam weight 2 piece 6 1/2 foot--going to get a 7 foot heavy weight for next trip to handle the big Lakers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fishgeter 5'6" Extreme Spinning Rod
Sometimes trout fishing here in WV is an adventure just getting to the stream. I had been using a 6'6" spinning rod, and found myself forever getting tangled up and having to back out of thickets. I decided to down size and opted for the 5'6" Basspro Extreme Spinning Rod, light action. The first day out, stopping at any likely looking water, I caught a trout, a smallmouth, and a bluegill. The second day in a farm pond I caught a 1lb. cat, a blue gill and several small largemouth, one that went almost two pounds. The rod is light, sensitive, responsive and appears to be well made. I was throwing 1/16 spinners and the little rod was whipping them out there a good ways. I paired the rod with a small Pflugger President and 4 lb. line. Little fish are a blast on this rig. As stated before the lure keeper would be better if positioned on the left side. Four stars only because it has only been on the water twice, but I am sure it is gong to be a favorite.

Great bass rod I really recommend it. If your thinking about getting it don't waste your time. Just buy it. It is super sensitive and has good back bone. I have a 6"6 m with 10lbs line and am pulling up bass easy.
