Here’s what you get: We start out with an immensely powerful yet feather-light 60-million-modulus Powerwall IM9 graphite blank, then wrap the butt section with a new diamond weave carbon fiber to enhance lifting power. We top the blank with virtually frictionless, mirror-polished Fuji aluminum oxide guides, and we finish the blank with the most durable clear-coat available. The grips are turned from ultra-premium-grade cork, with our exclusive PowerHump handle to aid in balance and enhance fish-turning power. The full-contact, Soft Touch reel seat puts your fingers directly on the blank so you can feel even the softest bite. The result is a fishing rod that is farthest removed from the ordinary, that is anything but the usual suspect, and that far exceeds what you expect from a rod at this price point. By definition, these rods truly are extreme! Three piece travel rods include cordura covered travel case and nylon rod sock.
Our specially contoured, premium cork handle design gives you enhanced leverage and an increased sense of confidence during the battle!
Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides:
Polished to a mirror-like, friction-free finish. Extremely durable; precisely spaced for perfect line flow.
Full Contact Soft Touch Reel Seat:
Lightweight, rock-solid reel seat locks your reel in place, and the blank-thru construction puts your fingers in direct contact with the blank for the utmost vibration transmission.

For lighter crankbaits, however, I would highly recommend the 7' ML BPS Crankin' Stick (baitcast rod). I'm talking about baits weighing between 1/8 oz. and 3/8 oz.; they do make lighter crankbaits (e.g., 1/16 oz.), but those are usually designed for species of fish other than bass. The added length helps you toss those lighter lures further, and the Crankin' stick is specifically engineered for the job (blend of various materials besides just graphite). Plus, they usually go on sale several times each year for $60. Tight lines!
