Compact smooth action!
I bought two of these spinnerbaits in the 3/4 oz size to try. I had envisioned slow rolling the bait along creek channel edges and deep water humps. However, old habits are hard to break, and I was soon throwing one into grass, bouncing shallow cover, and banging into everything I could find. It performed flawlessly, and the compact profile helps it to pull through heavy grass. It is easy to cast in strong wind, and makes for a great reaction bite when allowed to drop into cover. So far, the painted head and eyes have held up to the punishment. The balance seems to be just right for any speed retrieve that I have used. Also, the quick change feature on the blades works well, although I haven't changed the sizes yet. It just works well right out of the package.

They did such a great job building this lure, down to the beautiful finish, and the perfect combination of blades. I get twice the hits on this spinner bait than I do on any of the others that I have. My one complaint is that they went cheep on the wire. That may be why it is so affordable, but I would gladly pay 2 dollars more per lure to have a reliable wire. I can only catch 2-3 bass before the wire breaks on me. So far I haven't lost a fish, but it scares me when I am in a tournament. I have gone through 16 in the last 2 months. If they didn't work so well, I would have to stop buying them, but the risk of breaking is worth the pay out.

Great versatile spinnerbait
I use a multitude of spinnerbaits from strikeking to booyah and believe this deserves a spot with the best. I like to modify them by removing everything but leaving just the willow blade and then bending the wire up by the line tie and then bending the wire down about an inch above the willow blade. Once that is done I add a 2/0 trailer hook made by bass pro that is red. This in turn makes the bait extremely versatile and increases your hook up ratio by a large factor. There are two ways i like to fish this lure. Most of the time i use the 3/4 oz version with #50 sonic braid paired with a medium heavy 7 foot rod and a strong reel. I let it sink to the bottom while keeping the line tight to detect bites and allow the blade to turn correctly. I will then slow roll it either an inch above the bottom or let it bump the bottom as i retrieve it. The other way I use this is as a normal spinnerbait but the reason i bend the wire is it can be retrieved much much slower than if it wasn't modified yet you can burn it too. this lure is now my favorite spinnerbait and I have a tremendous amount of confidence in it because it has caught me hundreds of bass and ive only had it for three months.

Best Bass Pro Spinnerbait
I have fished with a lot of spinnerbaits (Terminators are my #1), but this one is the best BPS spinnerbait. I would even say its close to the Hildabrandts as well. (anybody remember those?) My favorite attributes to this lure is the color finish, durability, and the differnt head design compared to others. If its not a terminator, its a BPS Enitcer on the end of my line... with a bass.
