Rated 2 out of 5Â by pr1metyme too small..
bought these as trailers for my jigs so i wouldn't have to tear off the skirts on my regular grubs but they were kinda small...might of been my fault for buying the ones that were too small but i don't remember there being different sizes...plus they didn't seem as heavy and the color was not as dark as i would like...even darker ones were kinda clear..

I use these as jig trailers......they perform better than many that cost twice as much. They hold up well too.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to give them a try ordering several packs in different colors. I was expecting them to work as well or better than the Catapillar Grub, as this has been my go to grub. After catching a few smallmouths in one of my honey holes, I switched back to the catapillar grub, and quickly caught more. I'll keep using them, but I think the catapillars have got them beat.

I have used these grubs a lot during the early Spring. They are an outstanding bait for Smallmouth year around but seem to get me the best bite in the earlier part of the year. I like to fish them with a stop and go retrieve on a standard round ball jig head. Fish usually hit it on the fall. Also make a good jig trailer.
I tend to use these baits a lot when I'm taking someone new to fishing out. They are easy to work, inexpensive, and catch a lot of different species and sizes of fish. Great bait all around.

I use to get curly tail grubs in clear w/silver specks and caught many crappies on them. They look like a minnow flashing bye. I think twin tail in this color would be excellent for bass. Clear w/silver has disappeared from all brands. GlennAnswers

Get somebody to make them for you. Its not hard for a bait maker to shoot a different color. I make my own. I also make my own molds.1 of 1
