Bass Pro Shops® XPS® Aluminum Line Winder for Baitcast Reels
The concept is good but the hold down sticker
doesn't work very well. I tried it dry & wet but it
won't stay stuck with any pressure on the line.

THis product would not stick to any surface that I tried. I actually threw this away after trying using it numerous times. The idea is great but when I tried using it was total bogus

Suction cup stinks!
I thought this would really be handy. But put a spool of line on and stick it down , before you can make two turns of the reel handle it falls over! But it works great if you put it on the corner of a table and put two "C" clamps on the suction cup from each side of the corner.
I even tried sticking it to my wifes washer and it just falls over.

Exact amount depends on the size of the reel spool. You want to fill it close to the rim of the spool, stopping just before the beveled edge near the rim. Having a full (but not overfull) spool will increase your casting distance.
Not really, becasue you don't want tension on the line when spooling a spinning reel. The best way to spool a spinning reel is with the spool on floor, while ensuring that the line comes of the line spool the same direction that it is being wound onto the reel spool. (If coming of counter clockwise, it should go on the reel counter clockwise, too.)
