Very Poor quality
I am sorry I spent the money on this. The suction cup does not work at all, the cup is not molded correctly, I tried various surfaces and it will not stick to any. I even cleaned the surface and cup and wet them and still did not stick. I ended up taping it to my work bench. The part are small and numerous. Not user friendly...

The line winder suction cup does not hold to any surface. Too many parts to work with when loading line spool. Will not use it again.

easy line winder
i bought both the spinning and baitcast line winders with the suction cup (but did not use the rubber cup) after reading the diffuculty others had, instead from an old spinning rod and a 3 ft piece of shelf plank i made my own line winding setup. i cut the rod mount from the rod then mounted it and drilled a 1/4 inch hole in a 4 inch cut piece of 2x4 mounted it (for the the line winder) on the plank and now i can fill my spinning or bait cast reels with ease, use your imagination and you can do it too!

Exact amount depends on the size of the reel spool. You want to fill it close to the rim of the spool, stopping just before the beveled edge near the rim. Having a full (but not overfull) spool will increase your casting distance.
Not really, becasue you don't want tension on the line when spooling a spinning reel. The best way to spool a spinning reel is with the spool on floor, while ensuring that the line comes of the line spool the same direction that it is being wound onto the reel spool. (If coming of counter clockwise, it should go on the reel counter clockwise, too.)
