I purchased this to replace the old rope that was on my boat trailer winch. I did have to trim off about a 1/4 of an inch off the provided bolt to keep it from catching when you turned the winch, but other than that the install was flawless. Very happy!

This is a far superior replacement. going to the strap eliminates the tug and pull from the cable wedging between wraps.

Probably. Your winch has to be at least 2" wide to accept the strap. Also these have a loop in the end that has a bolt to hold it to the winch, so make sure your winch body has a bolt for the existing cable.A:Â
