This cover was just what we needed to cover our 18.5-foot boat. It's roomy enough to cover the motor and everything. Tie-downs keep everything safe and dry. Very happy with it. One suggested improvement would be a built in air chamber that could be inflated to keep water from pooling in the middle at the helm.

After reading the reviews I decided to order a boat cover a size larger than my sixteen foot boat in order to cover the trolling motor etc. I had to choose between the 15-17' model and the 16-18 foot model. The online description did not tell me that the 15-17' cover was a type B for a runabout (my style boat) and the 16-18' cover was a type C for a different style boat. This detailed description was on the box that I received the cover in and at that time it was clear that I should have ordered the 15-17' B model. I installed the cover and it works but the cover must be pulled forward so that the reinforced cover panels are over the windshield. As I don't intend to trailer the boat with the cover on I kept the cover and will use it as a rain cover as it wasn't worth the hassle of returning it for a different cover. I previously complained that although I was to receive free shipping, I was charged for additional shipping which was credited to me after I complained. the cover does keep out the rain and leaves and will work for me but Bass Pro Shops should include more info on the cover styles for the consumer to use to purchase the proper cover.

This boat cover promises a lot but delivers little. I bought one specifically for the 19 foot Basstracker 190. The cover designed to fit a 19 foot boat was too small, so I had to exchange it for the next size up. The next size up was long enough but still not wide enough. After upsizing yet again, I got one that was wide enough but several feet too long, even after covering the outboard motor, as well as the boat. Apparently, the manufacturer doesn't realize that, because the windshield and trolling motor have to be covered, too, the overall width of the cover should be several inches (maybe even a foot?) wider than the transom width of the boat. I never could find one that actually fit, even after ordering the "correct" size from the BPS catalog, then making multiple trips to the closest BPS store (over an hour away by car). When I finally "settled" for a size that was as close as I could get for my boat, it lasted only a few months before the fabric got rotten and broke through in several places. I took it back to the BPS store yet again but was told, "Well, they don't hold up too well if they're left out in the elements all the time. You should probably keep it out of direct sunlight." Hello! This is a boat cover! It's going to be exposed to sunlight, rain and dew and it's going to be left out in the elements. And finally, during the time I was exchanging one cover for another and then another, BPS raised the price by over $25. It wasn't worth what I payed for it originally; it certainly isn't worth $25 more! I'm tired of being taken for granted by BPS. Gander Mountain and Cabella's both sell boat covers. I think I'll do business with them.
