Bass Pro Shops WeatherSafe Boat Motor Covers
Fits but does not have grommets
I ordered and received 1539460 size E Gray, which fits my 2002, 200 hp Yamaha VMax HPDI.
However, the lines that are used to tighten the hood dont run through any grommets so it does not look like this will last very long. It is going to want to tear where the lines go into the cover and are tightened. My previous cover had the lines going through a grommet and it shows on the package label/display of this product that they should be running through grommets.
Would someone at Basspro please verify that this hood does not have grommets so i can be sure I just didnt get one that was made incorrectly?

best coverup product
This coverup beats anything the politicians in Canada and the US can create. It keeps the motor shining even in strong sunshine which will increase in intensity as the ozone layer decreases. Great product to protect your investment.

Bad fit allows dfstruction
The size of the cover is generic and does not fit snugly and as a result when traveling the cover gets air under it and it starts to tear apart. I have tried all different sizes on my 2001, 25 hp, 2 stroke Mercury motor and they have all been too big to work The only way I have been able to get one to last through the season is to use very heavy thread and re-sew it to a smaller size. (Tailored to custom fit my motor.) I have been shopping at Bass Pro Shop for 25 years and this is the first product I've found to not be a superior product. I will not buy another.

Would not recommend it.
Basically, this cover is nothing more than a big, poorly made, bag. I tried to trailer my boat with the bag over the motor and the bag tore to shreds. Not to be deterred, I bought another one, knowing this time that it was suitable for trailering. As stated in previous reviews, the drawstring is poorly designed and will allow wind to get under the bag and blow it off the motor. Knowing this was also a problem, I tied the drawstring to the motor to keep the bag from blowing off.. Well, the drawstring is as cheaply made as the bag. After a couple of months it begins to rot when exposed to the elements, and there goes the bag down the street.
