Vertical Rod Holder Come on Bass Pro, This hardware is useless in Drywall. Had to improvise. You need to include better drywall hardware, plastic inserts do not grab. The top rack, I had to drill holes through and re felt over screw hole because original design would not allow a tight fit. I am very disappointed in the quality of hardware and design.Glad I got them for $10 each because if I would have paid full price plus the extra time and hardware it took me to improvise You would have gotten a nasty phone call. USELESS !!! January 23, 2015
Exactly what we wanted This wall mount vertical rod rack is perfect -- it took our fishing rods off the floor in the garage, keeps them clean and out of the way. Easy to put up -- good template. December 30, 2013
Terrible design Hardware is worthless. The mounting design was engineered by a third grader. Rods easily fall out when bumped. The only reason they are still on my wall is to hide the holes I made in the drywall from the crummy hardware. If I was to do over I'd get the cheaper plastic ones. March 3, 2013
Rod Holder Each rod opening in the top bracket has some rough exposed wood that catches on your monofilament when you put a rod in the rack or remove one. Most of the inside of the slots are covered with felt, but not completely. If you can figure out how to cover those edges somehow, it would be a nice unit. September 25, 2014
