When you're serious about jigheads, these high-quality models from Bass Pro Shops are definitely the ones you'll want. Made with tough, fish-holding Eagle Claw® hooks and a strong double-eye design, they're easy to set up and will perform cast after cast. Comes in a reusable clam pack container.
Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice its lead on a hook, what more can I say. holds powder paint good. March 27, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Satisfactory Hook There is nothing too specail about these hooks. They are somewhat sharp, they dont rust out too easy, and they are cheap. Sometimes the eye of the hook is not closed so you have to crimp it shut with pliers. However, I would definately get them again. August 14, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Keep them dry these are great for 3 1/2 inch tubes. Hooks are strong and penetration is good. Warning, keep them dry the best you can because the hooks rust quickly if they get wet. Other then that, a good jig. July 19, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bean Counters Got Us Again! Bought the same item last year, had the good 630 style Eagleclaw hook, they even have the same item#.The new version has a 575 Aberdeen light wire hook, who uses a .75 0z. jighead for a little fish?A 20lb Striper would straighten them out,who would want that? Bottom line, big hunk of lead, heavy hook. June 7, 2011

Details:
What are the sizes of the hooks on these jigheads? I'm looking for something compatible with the BPS Tripple Ripple grubs particularly in the 2" size.

A:
I use 1/4 oz and 3/8 oz BPS jigheads with 4" Grubs and Tubes. I am far from an expert, but if you are using 2" grubs, it sounds like you would probably want to use a 1/16 oz or 1/8 oz BPS jighead. The 1/16 oz has a #4 hook and the 1/8 oz has a # 1 hook. So you should base your hook size/jighead on the type of fish you are targeting.
