When you're serious about jigheads, these high-quality models from Bass Pro Shops® are definitely the ones you'll want. Made with tough, fish-holding Eagle Claw® hooks and a strong double-eye design, they're easy to set up and will perform cast after cast. Comes in a reusable clam pack container.

Satisfactory Hook There is nothing too specail about these hooks. They are somewhat sharp, they dont rust out too easy, and they are cheap. Sometimes the eye of the hook is not closed so you have to crimp it shut with pliers. However, I would definately get them again. August 14, 2011
good this has a good wight to it when i throw out it get far to big fish for catfish bait i use grub curly tails on this but the hook is not the strong point i lost a big flip jack on it that made me mad still awesome jig head May 20, 2013
Cruddy Jigs. Buyer Beware! I ordered 12 packs of 1/32 oz. jigs (300 total), and 28 packs of 1/16 oz. jigs (700 total), for perch and crappie fishing. These have to be the worst jigs I have ever seen, bar none! While the barb on the collar is well formed, there was TONS of lead flashing along the center seam of all the jigs, leading to a knife edge that cuts through any plastic body you put on. It looks like these jigs were cast with very little care. But secondly, and most importantly, the Eagle Claw hooks on these jigs were the most dull hooks I have ever seen in my entire life! In every pack that I opened up, EVERY SINGLE HOOK WAS EXTREMELY DULL. Dull to the point were I could drag the point of the hook across my finger without even catching! It really was something to see how dull these hooks were. Eagle Claw's quality has dropped significantly and increasingly over the last several years. This will be the last Eagle Claw equipped set of jigs I will ever use. To say the least, I was not happy. I retuned these jigs, and will continue to look for something much better in quality. Buyer Beware! June 29, 2012
Keep them dry these are great for 3 1/2 inch tubes. Hooks are strong and penetration is good. Warning, keep them dry the best you can because the hooks rust quickly if they get wet. Other then that, a good jig. July 19, 2011

What are the sizes of the hooks on these jigheads? I'm looking for something compatible with the BPS Tripple Ripple grubs particularly in the 2" size.

I use 1/4 oz and 3/8 oz BPS jigheads with 4" Grubs and Tubes. I am far from an expert, but if you are using 2" grubs, it sounds like you would probably want to use a 1/16 oz or 1/8 oz BPS jighead. The 1/16 oz has a #4 hook and the 1/8 oz has a # 1 hook. So you should base your hook size/jighead on the type of fish you are targeting.
