First year I have had a boat. Bought this light to be able to fish at night. Had problems even getting it to burn. Ended up cutting the plug off and wiring it stright to my battery. The plug is cheep and hard to make contact. On and off switch is hard to use. Hard to get it to move. The first time reflector in back of light has any moisture to get in the cover it wraps around the bulbs and sticks to them. And as far as being able to see your line at night it's good up to about three feet. Don't waste you time or money. Go ahead and get one of the better name lights. That is what I have had to do. And out the price of the light to boot. If I had added another $40.00 any way it wouldn't have cost me a total of about $150.00

Bought this light to bass fish at night and i am very displeased with it, it shines maybe 15ft from the boat, it's a waste of money don't buy!

fish 3 nights a week from May to Oct . Light only works 10 to 20 feet from boat. do not buy.

I bought this light on sale. I am happy with my purchase and beleive I received a good value. But, I was a little disappointed how much light it put out.
