Bass Pro Shops Trout Net
Long time no break
I bought this cause I catch crayfish for bait and my nets keep ripping on the rim. Saw this, bought it, it only scratches when it hits rocks hard. just surface scratches. its deep for long trout. Medium size mesh for minnows.
Just get it. Its better than them 40$ wooden catch and release nets :D

I use it for bass fishing in my Kayak, caught a couple of 3 pounders and the net was great. Also got a 5 pounder and it worked. If your down south bass fishing or fishing for a fish that is larger than 5 pounds this net probably won't work. But great for anything under and awesome for use in a kayak.

Seems like a great product
Unfortunately, I haven't used it much, but from my first impressions this is a great product.
Solidly built, and with what seems to be good parts, this is one of the best buys in the BPS trout lineup. I've read that the netting itself is a magnet for hooks, and I can see that as being the only potential downside to this little guy.
I'm confident that I will get plenty of seasons worth of use out of this great find, and hope that the only reason that I need to buy another is because I have too many fish in this one!
Thanks again BPS!

I do not trout fish but I do use this net for panfish and crappie. I use a small one man boat and do not have room for a large net. I regularly catch bluegill in the 1.5 lb range and occasionally larger. After losing a couple of 2 lb bream because of breaking my light line when lifting the fish in the boat, I decided to carry a small net to lift the bigger fish in the boat. This has been the perfect net for me and I have a couple of slab bluegills mounted that the net was used to bring in.
