Rated 5 out of 5 by TxJugLiner Bait Lines 10 times faster I would highly recommend this product to any and all fishermen and fisherladies :-) that like to run trotlines or jug lines. I run jug lines and the ease that you can just clip on the baited leader and hook is awsome and if you need to adjust the depth you are fishing just pinch the clip slide it ti where you want it and bingo. The only issue that I found was that the catfish tend to deathroll for lack of better term and this can cause the leader to get all twisted up. I fixed this by adding Barrel Swivels which so far has stopped the twist. First try I baited out 5 Jug lines and pulled in 15 Cats between 10 and 30 pounds and the clips held up to both the big cats and the position they were placed. June 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hank09 Works good These clips work much better than tying the line by hand, and they slide on the line less. May 2, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by dgraham1311 Great So Far! Extremely easy to use. These clips take alot of the work and time out of trotlining. The only thing I wonder about is if they will hold up to a large catfish. I've only had a chance to use them a couple of times, and I never caught anything monstrous. Caught a few 10 pounders and they worked great. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to see how they do against a 40 pounder! June 16, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rastus Great Product Permanent trot lines have predetermined spacing that is not always correct for the circumstances. These clips give greater flexibility. Simply grasp the clip and clip it where you want to for the spacing that's right for your circumstances. Far fewer tangles when the snood clip is removed from the mainline. Permanently attach your snood to the clip and hang them in a bucket. Easier to bait, and easier to stow away. Nuff said. March 2, 2011
