My old plug and recepticle were getting hot and were ready to fail. I replaced them with this....seems just like the one that originally came with my Tracker. Good product!

The product works as advertised. I wish it came with a longer cord, so you could attach it to the electric motor directly. It came with a 6-8 inch cord in which you had to splice onto the electric motors cord which could eventually become corroded.

Its simply an "Electrical Plug"....... One would expect it to work (and it does) not a lot to review here.....
The biggest disadvantage here is the Price. It was about $26 with the shipping.. Which is far more than a fair price.
I had considered going to the automotive store and rewiring both the male and female ends with a much less expensive plug. However I didnt> Anyway in summary, the product works fine, but it cost a lot more money than the product is really worth.

The information on this item would lead you to believe that this has 8 gauge wire. It does not! It is 10 gauge wire coming out of the back of the plug. My trolling motor has 8 gauge wire and I needed this plug to match up with my boat. I made it work but not happy about the wrong size wire.
