The proven Bass Pro Shops Tri-Colored Crappie Grub sports three distinct color laminations which give panfish exactly what they want! The Tri-Colored Grub's light underbelly design presents a natural baitfish profile while the contrasting, high-action tail provides the trigger that makes crappie strike like mad.
Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice grub, good colors I bought these grubs on line and just picked the color by name. The colors are all good, and the tail action is good. I caught some bass and crappie with these. Good grub to use. October 11, 2012

Rated 1 out of 5 by Blue Shad Bought this blue shad, was not what shown, completely different, and had not gitter on the tail, completely disappointed. June 15, 2012

Answer this Question

A:
I use a 1/16 oz. jig head with pretty good results. I dont know about the bait cast reel-Ive never used one. But I would think theyre small enough for bluegill

A:
I use them for all types of pan fish, 1/16th & 1/8th oz. I prefer a 5' or a 51/2' rod with a ultra light spinning reel.

A:
even if im fishing bass a use 1/64th or 1/32nd oz they like the slow fall when i jig it the bobber makes it come up and then i let it sit until it drops to the bottom and keep repeting this until i get a bit and they take the bobber right under

1/16 - 1/8 oz. jigs work best for panfish. these are probably best suited for spincasting as baitcasters are usually bass fishing equipment

A:
yes, as a matter of fact, they come advertised as heavy salt. when first casted, they leave a salt trail back to you and the salt is actually cooked into the grub so it lasts the whole time you fish it. give these grubs a try, you'll be amazed. pick the colors that work best on your favourite body of water.

12 per package, so buy several. you'll need 'em as panfish wear these things out.
