Rated 5 out of 5 by Bassman14 Excellent Reel, unbeatable price
What is there to say about this reel except that it’s an excellent, high quality reel. It easily out performs my Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5600C4. Casting is easy and with some good accuracy, flipping and pitching is also a breeze. I lined this reel up with a Bass Pro Shops Graphite Series 7 ft MH rod and it works great.

It casted pretty far and smooth but it does knot up. But it is my first baitcaster and I'm still getting used to it over all not bad

Rated 4 out of 5 by hoosierwinner an okay reel for the money
i bought this reel at the end of 2007. I used it mainly for catfishing. I put 14#red cajun line on it. It seems to cast alright. Its my first baitcaster so i'm still getting used to it. Sometimes i might put a jig on it or a spinnerbait or a diving lure and it seems to do alright. If i had more money i would have bought a higher priced one. Remember you get what you pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OkieABC Excellent value!
I purchased this as a Tourney Special combo about a week back and I chose the 7' 1pc M rod for it. Today is the first day I got to take it out and make a few casts. I must say I am extremely impressed with how smooth this reel is. I have no issues casting 40+ yards without trying to power it out there. Every action of this reel is so smooth I would have gladly paid double for this setup. The Tourney Special rods are also great. I was throwing a shallow crank and even at its furthest (about 50 yards away) I could feel every little wobble of my crankbait. Excellent buy for anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to the higher end reels.
