I have changed to this product for the past 3 months. I have used it in 30 degree temperatures and in 60 degrees, the product is amazing. We used it on Sunday at a large Pond and we pulled over 20 large mouth Bass with some in the 4lb average.

I have been using the yamamoto baits for ages in the 3" length. 6-8 dollars for 10 was ridiculous...so i gave these a try. At 3.29 for 16 these are a steal, and they perform as good as the more expensive brands. Smoke purple flake and the green colors are deadly here in Colorado...and these baits caught me 15 14-22" large mouth on the 29th of December. I catch WAY more when it is warmer!
Killer Baits...whacky rigged on a size 8 finess or circle hook.

I used this product I'm the color stated above. Absolutely awesome. I normally don't fish for largemouth, but when I do, this is the bait. I nose hooked it and caught a 7.5pound bass. My forte is river smallmouth, again, I will use this lure as a jerkbait or deadstick it from April till October. It's my number 1 lure that catches numbers and size. What else can I say

Hate to sound like a commercial but this has been without a doubt, my most successful bait for the last two years. I've literally caught limits of smallmouth and largemouth bass on this worm. Just hook it through the head on your dropshot rig with 6# mono and let the fun begin !!!

I use a 1/0 Wide Gap Gamakatsu hook and a 1/16 sinker.Top 25 Contributor

I would wacky rig it with a 1/0 hook or less - Texas - maybe a 1/0 hook at mostTop 1000 Contributor

for such a small worm I would go with something under a 3/0. You could probably get away with using a 3/0 but its pretty big for three inches, a 1/0 or 2/0 would be my preference. Sometimes when I'm using these in a pond or something I even use the bps size 1 hooks, which is the next step below a 1/0A:Â
I would use a 1/0 hook, or even better a 1/16 oz. to 1/8 oz. leadhead.A:Â
I usually use size 1-5. Basically, it depends on the condition of your water. And, I recommend to use wacky style as well. Good luck!

the 3 " size would be tough to rig texas style. I used these on a drop shot rig with a 4 or 6 size circle hookA:Â
I would recommend a gamagatsu bait holder hook in #1 and#2. DONT GET 1/0 or 2/0. They will be to big.A:Â
1/0 hook works well, i don't use a weight either and it still works greatA:Â
I would use a 3/0 Eagle Claw (or any brand) regular Worm Hook.A:Â
Try a small #1 Gamakatsu Offset Shank Worm hook1 of 1
