Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series Squirmin' Squirts - 2''
When its hard to get a bite!
I've tried different color combinations when crappie are hard to get a bite, but the Tournament Series® Squirmin'® Squirts have come through for me better than most others. I've found it worked best in off colored water in southern Indiana. It works best to vertical jig the bait slow and add a silver Berkley Crappie nibble to give it that extra attraction. Working it slow allows the silver flakes to float slowly around and below the bait or if your in a slow current it leaves a trail to lure the crappie into the bait.

I purchased a package ot the 2" Squirmy Squirt jigs about a year ago..I used them this spring and summer, and they were were terrific at the pond that I fish on a regular basis..It was my best producer this year..I recently ordered several more paks of dfifferent colors..I highly recommend this lure for small and medium size Largemouth Bass, as I have caught up to 15" and 2.5 LBS Largemouth.. I have no reason not to believe it would catch larger fish as well..:lure works well for Bluegill and Crappies as well..AL

I use the 2inch for when I wanna catch anything and everything. I've caught panfish, small largemouths, pickerel, and turtles on these!
They come in every color combination you could ever want, whether its outrageous ones for super high visibility or something a little more natural and inconspicuous for high pressure days. They last a while and work great under a float just hangin there. I use a stop and go retrieve, letting my stops last for 30 seconds even a minute. They really get the job done.
The best part is that I like to stuff crappie nibbles into the tubes onto the hooks, so as they sit there they're releasing all that good food smell to get their attention.
I always keep a handful in several colors in my tackle box, makes for some great relaxing fish catching days.

These Tubes are easy to use but they need a little sparkle in em'.. I fish these with a size 7 split shot from Yamamoto.. I don't use any added weight, just the tube and the hook.. The hook is heavy enough to let the tube sink.. Believe it or not it's a very slow fall even when the tube fills up with water... They catch fish... They're a 5 star rating when you apply some "Kick'n Bass" sent.. That stuff works..
