I fish these on a one sixteenth ounce barbed jighead. I also Superglue these to the jighead, they will stay on much longer.A:
put one on a jig with the hook sticking out of the tenticles. tip it with a magott or 1/4 in of night crawler.A:
get blue and white ones (they work best) and put it on a yellow jighead w/ red and black eyes. then hook the tube through.then just add water

I shove a small jighead up the inside of the bait and push the eye through I use a bright colored jig head and you can still see the color a little bit cast and work slow, crappie love itA:

For trout last weekend at the Mammoth opening day, these brownish 1 1/2" tube squirts were outstanding. Cast out and let them sink a bit and twitch them a tiny amount. Twitch a few times and retrieve a bit more. Small twitches seemed to get them off the bottom and then sink back moving the tentacles. We released 35 trout in 4 hours and kept 16 for 5 people. Everything else did not work and we tried!Images for this Answer

i usually use these with the smallest jighead like 1/12 oz or 1/16 oz early spring work great for crappie just cast it let it sit to the bottom and start reeling in very slowlyA:
When my dad and I go, we usually use them for crappie. We get a couple of 10 or 12 ft. wonderpoles and get over the top of some brushpiles and horizontally jig them. Let them sink on a light jig head and move them every few seconds to the left and right. Good Luck!!A:
I use a smaller hook (bluegill size or a little bigger) and throw it as far as I can. Then it should begin to fall slowly (if it falls too fast or slow, adjust the hook size to match your desired speed). The fish will usually hit it on the way down, but if not, jerk it a little and let it fall some more. Good Luck......1 of 1
