Bass like plastic worms, you can pay more for other brand ones with fancier marketing but the fish don't see the marketing they just see a plastic worm. I have lots of brand name plastic baits and I am absolutely unconvinced the expensive ones are really any better. True on a given day the fish sometimes seem to be hitting one style better than others and it's sometimes hard to say why you just need to try a few different things, that said if they're hitting worms your odds are as good with one of these on the hook as with any other worm... and if they're not hitting worms it doesn't matter which you use. This worm is a good starting place because is some action but nothing extreme and it's small enough that it doesn't put off finicky fish (just bigger than a finesse worm really) but big enough to get bites from quality fish, and the plastic is soft so you get good hook-ups. I tx rig them with a 3/16 oz lead worm weight on a 4/0 hook and use 20 lb braid with a fast action medium power baitcasting rod. I think most of the basic worms in this size category fish about the same but at this price I get more bites for my dollar, gotta like that. Because they are soft they will tear up, but no worse than similar products from other brands and again the trade-off is you get good hook-ups with the skinny profile soft bait.

I ordered four packs of 6 inch black grape Bass Pro brand Squirmin Worms, only because you guys apparently don't make the 8 inch version anymore, or at least I couldn't find them in your store, catalouge or online. Please bring back the 8 inch version. The order was delivered as promised, with no issues. I just prefer the 8 inch, because when it comes to bass fishing, size does matter. Thanks

Took the kids, Jonathan 10 and KK 7, on their first bass fishing trip and boy was I glad I grabbed a couple packs of the these worms off the shelf just for this trip. The pumpkin seed/chartreuse and the solid black proved to be worth every penny. They wore the bass out with these two colors. My son nicknamed himself " the bassmaster" after using these worms! I included a couple pics of their bass. Well I would say that this is a great all around bait and a killer when the fish are looking for something more compact. Thanks BPS! My son has his official first favorite bass bait. His biggest of the trip was 2 lb 2 oz and KK's was 3 lb 5 oz.

In bass pro's fishing game, the Strike, This worm is used with what appears to be a prop on the front. I was wondering how i do that type of rigging so i could try and see if it works for real.

I use props on the front of these worms just to add a little more turbulence and flash to the worms as I mainly fish at night here in Arizona. I use small propellers (obtained through lure manufacture outlets) and coupled them with glow in the dark beads. Here is a narrative of how that would look. I would have a 1/16oz Tungsten weight (color matched to the worm), a glow in the dark bead (6mm, Chartreuse, Pink or Orange) a propeller, then another bead next to the worm.Since the propeller spins on the line, several times during your fishing, retie as the propeller with wear the line. this is very simple, just push the combination up the line and re-knot to the hook.
