The first time I fished with this lure I was catching fish almost every throw. My first cast caught a nice 10" rainbow trout and the next cast caught an 8" bluegill. This lure out fished my wife's Rooster Tail, both on quantity and quality. I used the 1/8 oz number (09) in stained water and caught a nice limit of both rainbows and bluegills. Get one, you will be glad you did.

These spinners are very durable. I use them often when I don't know what else to throw. My buddies at school are big fly fisherman but when I go with them, I catch more and better fish by throwing these simple spinners in the right places, than they do trying to "match the hatch". I like the black, but I feel like color does not matter too much as long as you don't use anything crazy. They do rust a little but they are so inexpensive that you can afford to buy several. You will not regret buying a few of these.

The micro spin is a great lure that we've used quite successfully. A great value for the money.

I used the Rainbow Trout colored lure and the brown trout colored in the 1/8th ounce size and caught 4 bluegills each.I would recommend fishing this lure in smaller waters such as streams and creeks. It rusts if you use it a lot.I fished this in a small stream and it performed well.
