Bass Pro Shops TinyLite Trigger Spin Rod and Reel Combo
I am usually fishin for Bass with a baitcaster but I fish at a lake once in a while where there are a ton of Crappie. So I decided to buy a ultra light setup. What a great idea. This combo is absolutley great. It took me a little while to reteach myself to cast these things but once I did WOW. Very reliable and great casts. The little monsters put up a great fight and it shows through this setup. Buy this combo and you will not be disapointed. Believe it or not (which I couldn't) my second weekend using this combo I somehow caught a 20lb carp on this thing. 4lb line! on a chartruse grub! Awesome combo and still in one piece and being used.

You get what you pay for...
1st off, good price. Bought this in May as a backup ul & for guests who dont normally fish...panfish, crappie, perch & small catfish.
Its been used about 4x since & has caught a few small fish. Well I found out this past wknd that the anti-reverse was not working. How, I have no clue. Its use was very limited.
I opened it up & discovered the spring had loosened up. After an hr or so of tinkering with it, I managed to "fix" it. Probably just temporarily but we'll see.
I realize its only $20 but I was expecting to get a yr out of this combo. I was actually planning on buying another prior to finding out the anti-reverse failed. Im not so sure if I can recommend this.
And while on the topic of anti-reverse. This reel is labeled to have Instant anti-reverse. It does NOT have instant anti-reverse.

WASTE OF MONEY
YEAH IT WAS ONLY $20 BUT STILL WHEN YOU ARE A 13 YEAR OLD AND LOOK AT IT ONLINE FOR WEEKS UNTIL YOU FINALLY GET TO GO TO THE STORE, AND THEN FIRST TIME YOU CAST THE LINE IN THE WATER THE REEL BREAKS AND YOU LOSE THE RECIEPT AND REALIZE $20 DOWN THE TOILET. IT MAKES YOU PRETTY MAD. THE ANTTICIPATION BUILDS UP, WAITING A MONTH, GOING TO THE POND, TAKING A BUMPY RIDE TO GET THERE, AND THEN FIRST CAST REEL JAMS. IT STINKS.
