Rated 4 out of 5 by very good purchase I like everything about the reel except for the trigger release it feels spongy when you engage it due to it being made out of plastic . I think its a great little reel for fishing but I feel certain this will be the weak link in the reel. It should have been made out of metal. January 31, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Reel! I have two of these little reels, one of them I have had for 4 years and they are both mounted on Bass Pro Glass Lite rods. They have the right amount of power and finesse, they are smooth and built well. you can change the side that the crank is on if you choose. Overall these are some of the best mini class reels on the market, they are perfect for catching blue gill, crappie, small mouth, rock bass, or even a 6 lb. large mouth! October 10, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Small is beautiful First love at first sight, the word to describe when I saw TinyLite™ Trigger Spin Reel. Its small but beautiful and it has a good performance. Recently I've tested on carp fishing, and I'm satisfied. Taking 3.5 lbs carp, no problem at all. April 9, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by good little reel have used this reel to catch crappie, bluegill, and even bass up to about 2 pounds. Is overall smooth and capible, but I find that the handle rusts quite easily. Overall good product especially for the price, works better than Pflueger reel that is 3 times more expensive. April 8, 2010

you can switch it to either. The directions don't say how to do it, but it's made to be switchable and it's easy

It's both. The reel comes with instructions on how to switch over from right to left and back again.

Yes. The standard is left handed. If you want to change to right handle, just open the screw, and swap the handle.

Unfortunately for us it does not say if it is available in left hand retrieve, however, all other underspin reels on the market, to my knowledge, are interchangeable from right to left hand retrieve. So I would guess that it is interchangeable as well. May have to call Bass Pro and speak with an associate in the reel dept. Hope this helps.
