Great little reel I have purchased 4 of these after buying two earlier this year. The whole family wants to use this reel. Last time out I landed a nice Northern Pike with it. The drag worked perfect and I was able to tire it out and get it to the net. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was it comes with cheap line that twist up and your casting is impacted by it. With good line it wil cast a long way. The picture is my son with a crappie hew landed with this reel. August 2, 2012
Great Reel! I have two of these little reels, one of them I have had for 4 years and they are both mounted on Bass Pro Glass Lite rods. They have the right amount of power and finesse, they are smooth and built well. you can change the side that the crank is on if you choose. Overall these are some of the best mini class reels on the market, they are perfect for catching blue gill, crappie, small mouth, rock bass, or even a 6 lb. large mouth! October 10, 2010
Terrible!!!!! Bought two , first one lasted 15 min, 2nd lasted 30min.on the first day of use. March 29, 2013
great reel i was wanting to try to get my self a nice little pan fish spinning reel when i saw this one. this is the first tiger spin iv ever purchased. i matched it up with an old 5 1/2 foot diawa ultralight rod i had in my garage spooled it with 2# bass pro tourney tough and works flawlessly for the small pan-fish and baby cats at my local river, excellent purchase.the real is so smooth i thought it was one of those 30$ reels when i first used it. you can switch it to either. The directions don't say how to do it, but it's made to be switchable and it's easy

Yes. The standard is left handed. If you want to change to right handle, just open the screw, and swap the handle.

Unfortunately for us it does not say if it is available in left hand retrieve, however, all other underspin reels on the market, to my knowledge, are interchangeable from right to left hand retrieve. So I would guess that it is interchangeable as well. May have to call Bass Pro and speak with an associate in the reel dept. Hope this helps.
