Rods are week. I had bought 2 tiny light combos and first time out they broke hooking up on crappie and bluegill that were not that big. September 12, 2012
FUN! Although this was probably not its intended purpose, I have used this little combo on a small river near town. I just caught a flathead and a channel cat (18 and 19 inches) , as well as a turtle and a good sized carp. You play the drag, you can catch anything you want. I don't know what happened to the person who broke theirs on the second cast but I HIGHLY recommend going back out and giving it another try! Thanks Bass Pro for the great price on a really fun rod and reel! July 9, 2012
MICRO COMBO I PURCHASED A SMALL MICRO COMBO WORTH 25 DOLLARS. I RECIEVED A COMBO WORTH 25 DOLLARS. IT BROKE THE SECOND CAST. BASS PRO REPLACED IT, BUT I HAVE NOT BEEN OUT WITH IT SINCE. April 27, 2012
Mighty Mite This little Tiny-Lite ultra-lite spinning reel is great. Catching Crappie and Bluegill. A half pound Crappie and and a big Bluegill has never been no more fun than catching them on this reel. A little advice close the Bail with your hand and you will never mess up the line. Every reel does better if you do this. Bass Pro Shop has something outstanding in this reel over every other company. If you are debating buying one of these take my word and order one or more. Thanks. April 16, 2012

A:
I have a pole just like this that one. I have gotten 10lb bass in on the pole. The pole is perfect for bass and bluegill. The tip of the pole bends alot. If you have a bluegill on it, it mades it look like a big bass. But the only problem is when you hook a 25lb carp with it like i did. It made my reel start clicking.

A:
Setting the hook. The pole flexes too much. When I started using it, one day I hooked 6 trout and lost four of them. It got MUCH better after I switched to braided line.
