The graphics look like the game was made 10 years ago and the game makes a loud growl when it's loading. The gun does not aim very well and freezes on the screen. The target marker also disappears when your playing.
I know it's not my system because this is the only game that lags real bad and makes noise when processing.

I don not Hunt. I like to fish, I just never got into Hunting. Some of my Younger Cousins do though and they have this game. We all sat down to play it over the holidays and I had a blast. I loved the mini games, but they really seemed to love going through the whole stalking your prey excitement. They tell me that it is more fun than real life because they get to move around and chase the animals instead of waiting for them to come to them. I don't know how accurate this is to hunting in real life, but I know these kids; I cannot take them out in my boat because they won't hold still. They hold still for this game. They love it and I love it. I would recommend this for anyone with young aspiring hunters in the family!

I am not one for hunting games as I am more into fishing but after seeing videos of the game I had to get it. I would recommend this to anyone who may not be into hunting but is curious about what it seems like. The down fall is that the game does not look as pretty but that mainly has to do with it being on the Wii. The feel and way it plays more than makes up for this minor fault.

Can you use the wii remotes from the previous verison of the The Strike and the Hunt.I see the new versions (Tournament Editions of the The Strike and the Hunt) have different remotes

The new devices shown are just the motion plus remotes. I am playing with the original remotes that were bought with my Wii when it was first released. I did have to do a software update for the Wii itself but it was probably past due.A:
I think so. You just have to stick the Wii remote in the peripheral device and sync it to the Wii. It should be useable with any peripheral device (the functionality of the device may limit the gameplay experience if it is not meant for that type of game...ie: a baseball bat peripheral will not work well in a bowling game but is compatible with the Wii remote.) Since they are both fishing controllers I think they will work though. Good Luck!1 of 1
