Rated 3 out of 5 by Additional Work needed These will fall over in windy conditions. I simply cut a length of board for the legth of my boat (or width will work) and drilled holes so that the shaft would fit through the drilled holes to keep the supports from slipping December 7, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by pole Worthless falls over all the time. Never by that again May 23, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by this product stinks the support cover stinks, it does not stand up. i would not recommend it to anyone. May 3, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works well once stabilized I had problems with high winds knocking the pole down. To fix that, I bought a 5 gallon bucket and lid, cut a hole in the lid and filled the bucket 1/3 full of rock. This provided a very stable base and solved the problem. Now it works well to prevent pooling. April 26, 2011

A:
Some covers can be equipped with a snap so that it stays put in wind or when trailering. The canvas or cover material needs to be beefed up at the location of the snap.
