Because today's braided lines give anglers the confidence to flip or pitch into the heaviest cover, superline anglers needed a hook like Bass Pro Shops Superline Vertical Drop Hook to match their line's toughness without hampering presentation. The Superline Vertical Drop Hook was designed with heavier wire to withstand the demands of today's superlines, and is weighted so when required a slower presentation is possible. Whether you're flippin' or pitchin' into heavy cover or swimming worms or swimbaits. Utilizes Gamakatsu® Superline hooks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good purchase at that price I have spent way to much on hooks over the years buying that name brand when I could havre been filling my tackle bag with pro shop hooks thank you BPS July 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hooked I really like this weighted hooks because they are so easy to use when heading to the bottom and pull out some nice large mouths. They stay in place good when tucking to be snag less and save the hassle of using bullets and hanging up. April 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by like em Works well. Use them with my soft plastic minnows and flukes. April 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product These were bought specifically to use with the Z Man shrimp. They performed as expected. Hooks are extra sharp and the weight is dispersed enough to create a fluid movement of the bait. November 20, 2012

They are talking hook size in gauge. Generally the gauge has about an 1/8th inch difference in length.

I got the small pack and it only had 5 for around $3. But they are well worth the price for their dependability.
