Terrible...Get the 5 inchers Theese are way to big. Go with the 5 inchers. Way easier to fish. April 23, 2012
sticko tournament worm Very similar in weight (9%) less than Senko, slighly longer (3/16") and ever so slighly lower fall rate. Much more durable and the bass love them! I recomend over the competition and many more to a pack for 40% less, well thats just simply a better value. BPS is really coming along with their baits! April 10, 2012
Can't complain I fish mainly striped bass here in the northeast but it's not season yet so I had cabin fever so I gave largemouth a try at a local pond. The trick is dark colors big and slow and the black with blue flakes worked like a charm in colder temperatures. March 25, 2012
A Senco Double Wow! What results! I received these big 7 1/8" Stik-O-Worms yesterday. After supper I went to a lake about 10 minutes from my home. This lake has Bass in the 12" to 16" size mostly. I had been using Senco 5" worms there and doing well. As many as 9 Bass in about 2 hours. Well, I only fished for 45 minutes as a lightning storm ran me off that shore. You know how fishermen usually say "Use a BIG bait to catch a BIG fish"? Well that is true. I caught a really nice Bass. Ran up to the truck and got my tape measure and my camera. It measured 21"! After several photos, I placed it back. It recovered in less than a minute and zipped away out to deep water. So I just now purchased more of these. Don't waste your time guessing which color to use. Buy the Black with Blue Flake. Believe me, that is the only color you will ever need. August 19, 2011

Rig on a jig head?

Details:
Just wondering if anybody has tried these on a shaky head or other stand-up jig? Does it work or is the Stik-O too heavy? I'm going to try it anyway...just wondering if there's been any success with that technique. Just looking for ideas.

Thanks, semipro. I used it on a Pumpkin Ed stand up jig (5/0 hook) to imitate a snake eating something on the bottom. No takers...just trying to show Mrs Bass somethin' different. It's a very big worm--I'll just crash it thru the junk when the weather warms up. Thanks again.

A:
you could rig on a jig head but it would have a to have a large hook, 3-0 or bigger, 5-0 preferred. It doesnt float so shaky heading is not really what it was designed for, especially this 7 and 1/8" one.

Smaller Baits tend to get more fish. Not always the size you want. You can use them year round

A:
The great thing about the Stik-O/Senko style baits is that they can be fished year round with a good amount of success given different presentation styles and colors to match the forage at your local body of water. Because this bait can be fished in so many ways, it may be best to take a more comprehensive approach on how and when to use it. The most popular styles of throwing the bait are using it in a weightless Texas rig or in a wacky rig. Some anglers also use the smaller versions in drop shotting techniques because of the worms pulsating movements. You may want to check with a fishing department employee at your local Bass Pro Shops for information on what seems to be working best on your local waterways and during your current season.

wondering if the 7-1/8" stik-o's are as fat and heavy as the 7" yamamoto senkos. i had previously bought the 6" stik-o's and was disappointed to find that they were the same thickness as the shorter stik-o's.

The 7 1/8" Stik-O weighs on average about 7/8 oz. , are tough and evidently taste really good to bass. They retain their fish catching ability even after being reduced to 5 inches and several fish. When they get a bit torn up, I put them on jig head and keep fishing....Great bait. Buy and use a few to make the comparison.

Yes! I have to use a 5/0 worm hook for these. I only use a 4/0 hook for the 5" Senkos. I see no difference between the two brands. I can tell you the Bass certainly like these Stik-O's. I can now cast a good 30 feet further than my longest cast with the 5" Senkos. If I were wealthy, I would buy Bass Pro Shops out of all their 7 1/8" Stick-O's. The very first day I received these, I caught a really nice 21" Largemouth Bass from a lake that only produces 12" - 16" Bass for most fishermen.

Yes they are very comparable to the 7" senko's. The only difference that I have found is that they don't sink as fast at the senko.
