My son and I pulled out 10 medium sized bass in 45 minutes using these at Busch Wildlife Preserve in Missouri. Only used green pumpkin seed, but worked great. Small but powerful!

I have used these in the past with good success. The older version had a slot for the hook tip to fit into and made rigging them easier and more effective. The new version does not, nor could I feel or taste the added sent on these new ones. Good but the older ones were BETTER.

Best Soft Bait for Price
These soft baits are far superior than the competition. When I took them out on the water, I couldn't believe the success I had with them. First cast, I nailed a behemoth smallmouth. I have used these approximately 10 times and have nailed bass on them each and every time. Fish love these, no matter the color. I personally like the chartreuse color. Great bait, I will defiantly keep these stocked in my tackle box.

Best for wacky fishing
I use these with a #2 Octopus hook for wacky fishing. Works best with a o-ring to make them last longer. Caught over 900 fish (Crappies, Bass and chain pickerel) already this year using them.

for such a small worm I would go with something under a 3/0. You could probably get away with using a 3/0 but its pretty big for three inches, a 1/0 or 2/0 would be my preference. Sometimes when I'm using these in a pond or something I even use the bps size 1 hooks, which is the next step below a 1/0
