Rated 5 out of 5 by gramaT Great product
The pot came faster than expected, in good condition, and am very happy with the looks and use of it. It is just what it said it was and works well.

Bought this to do my homebrewing in and just love it. The faucet at the bottom is great for pouring my wort into my fermenter

Rated 2 out of 5 by 4kevinf metal is too thin
I bought 2 of these to cook tomato sauce in and can the sauce. The bottoms flex in and out. This gives the feeling that the metal is too thin. I was hoping for something more sturdy and able to last longer.

Used this pot for the first time over the weekend. It does a much better job than the Alum. pot I was using, heats up faster and stays hot longer. Also clean up is much faster being able to drain the oil using the spigot.

I did the magnet test and it would not stick to the "stainless steel" pot. Why would it not stick to it?Answers
A:
Because the pot is aluminum. And magnets don't stick to stainless anyway. With the cheaper stainlesses you will get a bit of stick but not much.A:
There are different types of stainless steel and this pot is made out of austenitic stainless steel which is not magneticAnswers
A:
No, it is supposed to be mounted securely on the pot and not recommend to be removed. ThanksAnswers

for a 30 qt. pot, the recommended max size of turkey is 18 lbs or any size smaller. If you want to go larger, you should look at Bass Pro's 36 qt. fryer. It goes up to 22 lb turkeys or larger.Answers

What about a rubber washer at the spigot? Being so close to the flame, I'm worried about melting of the spigot and any plastic or rubber seals. Thanks!

A:
The spigot is all metal. Mine works great and does not leak. There has been no issue with the washer leaking. About the only way I think you could get it to melt is to put the burner on high and keep the spigot right above the burner, which of course in normal use, you'll never do.Answers

i see the spigot has a threaded cap on it. What is the size of the thread? I would like to hook a drain to this and would need to know what size fitting to get.Answers

A:
The size of the spigot is 1/2 " and the size of the thread is 3/4 ".1 of 1
