I actually learned of this tool's existence on a DIY web site. I bought it to reach into the deep, dark places that seem to attract small screws and bolts. Held off buying due to it just being a "nice to have", instead of a need. Then, I got a gift card for BPS, decided to splurge and get one.
Looking it over, I like the simplicity of the mechanism. If it ever goes south on me, I am sure I can rig it back together. The only change I would like would be for the "trigger" to be closer to the grip, and reduce the "trigger" swing.

If you fish you need one. This thing is great for removing hard to get hooks. If your catching fish and don't have one you'll wish you did.

This hook remover never lets me down, no matter how deep the hook may be set. It's design also lessens the harm done to the fish during hook extraction.

A must-have tool when fishing for those toothy fish like Pike and Musky. Long enough for even 50" Durable and made of Stainless Steel, so it's rust resistant. A great price too.
