tourn. series squirmin worm
I do recommend this worm, although the 8" worm that Bass Pros Shops discontinued was the very best worm I ever fished. I fish a lot at night and have caught several bass over 10 lbs. as well as 2 over 11 lbs. on the 8" squirmin worm....I wish they would bring that worm back and I would buy a thousand right now!!! I can't count the number over 8 and 9 lbs. caught on the 8" black squirmin worm tourn. series...Good fishing to you all.

Great Worm BPS Brand
I purchased a bag of these in the Greenpumpkin Color. I Texas Rigged it with an Eagle Claw 7/0 hook. I cast it, on the 4th cast, over inside a tree laying in the pond on Saturday 08-18-12 at 4 pm . I had this nice 8.1 lb. Large Mouth Bass. After fighting him for 5 minutes, I finally landed him. I love these worms and that color, I'll always purchase from BPS. Just AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!

Finesse Worm on Steroids
If you really want to go after the biggest bass in your waters, you've gotta get a couple of bags of these
"Lunker Lures" in your favorite colors and atleast 2 more bags in colors you think wouldn't catch a cold, and more often than not, that "odd" color will be THE BAIT OF THE DAY. Or that's happened to me a few times. But there's something seductive about the tail or something with these worms that the Bass find so appealing they'll clobber these big 12" worms! So get a few packs of 2 or 3 colors and some 1/4oz. &-3/8oz. Tungsten worm weights and use either Fluorocarbon or braided line(to get the best sensativity) and see if you don't agree. I'm sure You'll glad you did.

can you fish these in SUBMERGED weeds that are 3-4 feet tall or will the tail hang up? I'm not talking about weeds that you would flip in. and also is this worm heavy enough to fish weightless? thanks!
Sure, just use a 3/4 or 1 oz bullet wt to crash it thru the junk. Spray some attractant/scent on the worm when fishing the weeds. Most attractants are oil based which helps the plastic slide thru the spinach.
Yes, you can cast this worm weightless without any problem.
Texas rig it with 3/0, 4/0, or 5/0 EWG hook. If the bottom has weeds or other growth go ahead and use a bullet weight to get it thru the spinach. I like to use it weightless, though. When weightless, the worm slowly glides to the bottom which really flutters the tail.
No. It flutters to the bottom. However, that tail moves like crazy! Go ahead and reel quickly; fish it on the surface like a small snake. I plan on doing just that along lilly pads and slop once the weather gets hot around here.
by it self yes, with a hook it will sink super slowly, I use it weightless 95% of the time and it works great, stays just below the surface about 1 maybe 2 inches at most. Great worm to use, it will work well for a carolina rig as well, if you fish a worm that way
I catch more fish with black worms than any other colors, I use them year round. There are times though that they won't hit them so you need to change it up. I have on average 10 differant colors in my box all the times.
I use 3 colors. Black, Red Shad, and Green Pumpkin Seed. Red Shad is the BPS version of the Tequila Sunrise color. I use Red Shad and Green Pumpkin Seed in clear water when the bass are bedding in the spring. Black can be used 24/7/364 no matter what the water color...it's always in my tackle bag.
