Either I have not figured out just how to use the remover or it is a complete waste of time! All it does is bend the hooks and you have to tear them out of the fish. Pliers work a lot better.

Extremely useful when you hook a fish deep in its mouth. Some of these low star reviews don't even make sense to me. The tool helps you pull the hook down because you can't get your whole hand and arm into the fishes mouth. You should never bend or snap the hook and it should never even come close to cutting the line. Very easy to use and I highly recommend this to anybody who doesn't want to sit for 5 minutes and wrestle a hook out of a bass throat and would rather pop it out and get back to fishing.

This is a better tool.Puts pliers to shame.Have needed to use it 3 times.All 3 bass lived.

You could add a treble, in place of the single trailer hook as long as you're not in the weeds. Bait is heavy enough that it's wouldn't be affected and will run true

My kids wait too long to set the hook and it's difficult to get the hooks out of those little bluegill mouths when they're deep. Looks like a nice design concept, just curiousif it's small enought to fit in a small bluegill's mouth

Simply grab the hook with the remover and pop it out. It is simple and won't harm the fish.

Just put it in the fish's mouth down to the hook. Hook the loop on the end of the hook remover around the hook and squeeze the two handles together to grip the hook. Twist or push it and remove the hook.A:

It has a small 'hook' protruding out of a tube. You 'hook' the fish hook that is down the throat of the fish and pull with two fingers and that traps the fish hook very solidly against the end of the tube.
