I like to fish for fresh water perch and have found, nothing works better. I use a 1/8 oz black jig head with my ultra light pole and what a combination. Recommend this item to all.

Caught over 40 SMB's in three days on the Colorado river using the 3" pumpkinseed on a Road Runner spin jig head. This is on only 9 or 10 grubs. They last and fish love em!

I haven't fished in about 40 years. Am wondering what size hooks would be appropriate for the 2 and 3 inch plastic grubs?Answers
A:
I use jig heads for plastic grubs. 1/8 for 3 inch, 1/16 for 2 inch.A:
The!!! perfect rig for this bait is Owner 1/16oz dart head jig or the Bass Pro Shops Big Bite jighead in 1/16 or 1/8 oz. The Big Bites sink slower and rise quiker.A:
Use a 1/8 OZ Jig Head and the Hook will be the right size, that's what I use for all fish!A:
1/16 oz lead head gives it hang time in shallow waterA:

Anywhere from a size 4 hook to a size 2 hook would probably do the trick.Top 50 Contributor
A:
a small jighead 1/16 oz. will usually do the trick. if you make your own jigs, use anything from a #6 to #2 575 jig hook. good luck!Images for this Answer
